Hotel Port Plaza Chiba offers high-speed internet service in its banquet halls. This can be used for a wide range of purposes, including seminars, training, academic conferences, and online meetings. The hotel is connected via optical fiber lines, and the internet is gigabit compatible, with 1000/100/10M bps internet available. In addition, each banquet hall has its own independent network via VLAN, so you can use the banquet halls with peace of mind without interference between them.

1 yen per venue per day (tax and service charge included)
Please prepare your own computer that has a LAN terminal and can be connected to a LAN. Also, prepare a computer that can use the protocol. (If you use wireless LAN, a LAN terminal is not necessary.)
The number of wired LAN ports at the venues will be 10 at Royal, XNUMX at Pearl, XNUMX at Ruby, XNUMX at Boso, and XNUMX at each of the other venues.
We also have LAN cables and HUBs available for rental. Please ask our staff in advance.
IP addresses will be assigned automatically to network devices. However, if you would like to use a fixed IP address, please consult with the person in charge in advance.
Wireless LAN is also available at the above venues. However, since the number of wireless access points is limited, please consult with the person in charge in advance.
Precautions for use
- This can be used regardless of the type of OS, but depending on the OS, you may need to restart your computer after connecting the LAN cable.
- You cannot use services that require a global IP address on the computer itself.
- VPN supports standard specifications for IP sec and PPTP. However, we do not guarantee that all VPN connections will work. We do not provide support if VPN cannot be used.
